To set up a potting area, you’ll need at least some enclosed storage space for potting soil and tool bags, a shelf for extra potting and saucers, a countertop that doesn’t mind getting dirty, and a sink that can catch water.<\/p>\n

You don’t always need to use traditional indoor pots to grow houseplants \u2013 why not try using rectangular pots, urns, or outdoor containers? Be sure to use a tray under the pot or pot to protect your surface from water damage.<\/p>\n
